I am truly blessed to have been called by Calvary Baptist, Brownsboro in May of 2023. Here is a statement of my beliefs:
I accepted Christ as my Savior and Lord at the age of eight years old and became a member of the First Baptist Church of Brownsville, Texas. During my sophomore year in High School, I felt God call me into the Ministry. He has led me into the pastorate, which is more than just Sunday morning sermons; it is ministering to people in their need. I feel God has called me to proclaim His Word and to lead His people.
There are three areas that I feel are vital, whether practiced or not:
(1) Prayer (2) Bible Study (3) Visitation.
Prayer is seeking the Lord's will, Bible study is seeking the Lord's knowledge and wisdom,
and visitation is a response to the first two – to seek others for the Lord.
I believe the Bible is the Holy and Inspired Word of God and the final say-so in all of life.
